C-Band Satellite Adds Up to More Channels, More Choices, and Lower Prices for Viewers

The way those other satellite systems are promoting their services, you'd think they were offering something brand new. Though the little dishette systems offer satellite programming, the original C-band satellite system is still the clear winner for consumers on programming choices and price.

That's because a C-Band satellite system provides the full choice of programming  at the lowest prices possible. So while other satellite services try to play "channel catch up", the C-Band channel line-up continues to be so far ahead, there's no comparison.

The best satellite system today and in the future

  • As new channels become available, your C-Band system will be able to access them. So, as the universe of programming grows, your C-Band satellite system will expand with the universe. (And only C-Band can deliver this!)
  • Thinking about switching from C-Band? STOP! You'd be giving up the lowest programming prices and the best sound and picture quality available!

Did you know that with any other satellite system:

  • You will pay more for your programming than with C-Band
  • You will lose access to many of the free channels you enjoy with C-Band
  • You will not have access to the full spectrum of satellites.
  • You will not be able to  freely choose the company you buy programming from; your choices would be severely limited to only 1 or 2 providers!
  • You wouldn't have access to a hundred satellite radio stations.
  • You'll miss out on the full range of specialty programming including sports, shopping, educational, religious, international adult, and more!
  • Plus, with the limited transmission capacity of the other systems, as they add new channels they might drop the channels you watch the most!
  • Anything other than a C-Band satellite system is just an "entry-level" satellite system. Your C-Band system is the only true satellite system providing access to over 20 satellites and 350 channels! The high bandwidth of C-Band can offer a total universe of up to 3000 channels or more!

So remember, as a current C-Band satellite owner, you enjoy:

  • Lower programming prices every month
  • The widest channel selection
  • The largest number of programming providers to choose from
  • The best sound and picture quality (You don't see the cable company or commercial TV stations using the little dishette, do you?)
  • C-Band is here to stay!

Is your present C-Band system out of order?

We have talked to many customers who were considering buying a little dishette because their C-Band system is in need of repair or update. Once we pointed out that they would spend $600 or more to buy, install and program a little dish and that they would be paying higher prices for their programming (30% higher or more!), most of our customers realized that it would be a wiser investment to spend that $600 and upgrade and or repair their present C-Band system.

We have also talked to many other consumers who have bought the little dishette after having owned a C-Band system only to find out that they are completely dissatisfied and intended to sell their new little dish and repair their old C-Band system. We've even had a few phone calls and email from customers who bought a little dish as their first satellite dish, were unhappy with it as a whole and were asking about upgrading to a C-Band system.

Fact vs Fiction

Many little dish salesmen will try to convince you that C-Band is "going away" or that "digital is better than analog".

Fiction: C-Band is a thing of the past and is going to go away in the near future.

Fact: C-Band is currently the transmission backbone for cable companies, the networks and for all TV stations and for the DSS system. It would cost billions and would be foolish to replace all of that existing superior technology with little dishettes that are not broadcast quality. C-Band is also the backbone for the little dish system! Signals are received on big C-Band dishes from the networks, processed, digitized and re-uplinked to the little dish satellites and downlinked back to the little dish! These major television industries and millions of home C-Band system owners are NOT going to give up C-Band any time soon, so don't believe it when someone tells you that C-Band is going away!!!

Fiction: Digital is better than analog

Fact: The little dishette picture is digital and has an average resolution of about 300 lines at best and is prone to digital artifacts. The Analog C-Band picture has a full NTSC resolution of 525 lines. In other words, the analog C-Band picture is the clearest, sharpest, most accurate TV picture available.
